NSF S-STEM Scholarship Program at UNT
S-STEM: Attracting and Cultivating AI Scholars through Multi-faceted Mentoring, Research Experiences, and Cohort Building
This program provides scholarships and co-curricular activities to support talented undergraduate students in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of North Texas. The application is open in the spring semester and the selected students will be notified before summer starts. The scholarship will be awarded in the fall and the following spring semesters.
The selected students will receive up to $13,849 per year (renewable) and will receive multi-faceted mentor (academic, career, research, etc.) The scholars will also have opportunities for paid research experience and travel to conferences.
Eligible candidates must be U.S. Citizen, nationals of the U.S., permanent residence, and aliens admitted as refugees and are enrolled in the CSE undergraduate programs at UNT, and have demonstrated financial need (e.g., filed a FAFSA application)
